YOUR ROLE 

 

This role is to ensure:

Timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the organization and externally to customers.

A smooth, accurate and timely freight process data flow from shipment initiation up to delivery
same as into our operating system, providing Track and trace shipments as required and update customers regularly

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the organization and externally to customers.
  • Ensure smooth, accurate and timely freight process data flow from shipment initiation up to delivery
  • same as into our operating system, providing Track and trace shipments as required and update customers regularly
  • Utilize Process Monitors and Workflows on daily basis, ensure timely movement and delivery of freight to customers ensuring documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes (handover, deconsolidation) accurate and timely opening of job files in our operating system and attach edocs as required
  • Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, exceeding customer service expectations, Contributing to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, GHA and others)
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements, understanding department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
  • Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures. (SOP’s) are followed, updated, meeting KPI standards, as per the company procedures. Adhere to all company internal SOP’s
  • Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external) also offering assistance to customers to ensure they find the right product/service.
  • Communicating with customers by email, phone, and face-to-face, Investigating and solving customer problems; some are rather easy, but you will occasionally face a complicated issue. Learning about company’s products/services and remaining up to date with any changes, referring customers to Branch manager, when necessary, on escalations.
  • Execute all tasks that could be requested by management or management team

BAC+2

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

Logistics Experience

Other Information

Detail oriented, good communication skills both verbal and written
