CEVA Logistics Turkey is looking for a dedicated and proactive Sales Development Professional to join our dynamic Business Development team. As part of CEVA Logistics, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our growth in the Turkish market, focusing on ground and rail logistics solutions.
About the Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within the logistics sector. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to generate leads, conduct market research, and develop targeted strategies that align with CEVA Logistics’ vision and business goals. Your efforts will support expanding our customer base and reinforcing CEVA's position as a trusted logistics partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the ground and rail logistics sectors across Turkey.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand industry trends, competitors, and potential client needs.
- Engage with prospective clients through various channels including calls, emails, and networking events to generate qualified sales leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and senior sales executives to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
- Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and timely information about leads, opportunities, and communications.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Provide regular reports on market feedback and prospect activity to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in sales development, business development, or a related role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of ground and rail logistics services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding targets and driving business growth.
