WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS TEAM LEAD?

As Team Lead, you'll ensure your logistics team achieves its daily goals! You'll do this by dividing the workload within your team and guiding them in the right direction. You'll monitor progress and report it to your Operations Manager. You'll identify deviations and opportunities for improvement, and you'll initiate solutions. Finally, coaching and developing your team is a key aspect.

As Team Lead, you will:

• Leading the daily operation and be responsible for achieving set KPI’s and improvement plans;
• Coaching and developing your team by stand-ups and one-on-one meetings;
• Decision making for an optimal process in collaboration with your colleagues and the Control Room;
• Optimizing the efficiency of people, resources, and machines;
• Conducting performance, appraisal interviews and absenteeism guidance;
• Ensuring a clean, healthy and safe working environment.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

You’ll be working at our Bleiswijk location, where we have a warehouse no less than 140,000 m². This location handles logistics for Zalando: a major customer in eCommerce, specialized in shoes, clothing, and fashion accessories. Automation is a key focus in this warehouse. You'll become part of the Operations Team. The atmosphere is characterized by passion and professionalism, with plenty of room for fun and connection! You'll report to the Operations Manager and lead a team of 30 employees and 2 till 4 Team Coordinators.

WHY IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU?

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities?

• By nature, you are a people manager with at least 3 years experience in managing a team in a similar warehouse/logistics work environment;
• Full-time availability, working in 3 shifts (early shift 6.15 – 14.45h, late shift 14.45 – 23.15h and (once in 10 weeks) a night shift 23.15 – 6.15h;
• Proficient in English, in writing and speaking, Dutch is a plus;
• You are a strong communicator, a go-getter, and able to handle stressful situations;
• Good social and contact skills;
• Command of the English languages in word and writing.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.950 and € 4.100 plus 8% holiday allowance (scale depends on your work experience and education level, among other things);
