YOUR ROLE
As part of the continued growth of our Time Critical Services business, CEVA Logistics is currently looking for a Dispatcher – Carrier & Fleet Management to join our operational team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with carriers, subcontractors and managed fleet providers, ensuring transport capacity is secure and operations are executed efficiently. You will act as the key point of contact between CEVA, transport suppliers and operational teams, contributing to service excellence in a fast-paced Time Critical environment.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, transport suppliers and managed fleet providers.
- Manage day-to-day communication with carriers regarding transport orders, operational requirements and service expectations.
- Source and secure transport capacity for Time Critical and urgent transport requests.
- Negotiate transport rates and operational conditions with carriers while ensuring service quality and profitability targets are achieved.
- Coordinate transport execution and ensure carriers receive complete and accurate operational instructions.
- Monitor carrier performance and proactively address service issues or operational deviations.
- Collaborate closely with Planning Operators, Tracking Operators and Customer Desk teams to ensure smooth transport execution.
- Support the management of urgent and critical shipments by identifying reliable and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of shipment updates and operational information.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities, carrier information and operational documentation.
- Develop long-term partnerships with transport providers to strengthen CEVA's carrier network and capacity.
- Support business growth by identifying new carrier opportunities and market developments.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, transport regulations and customer requirements.
- Participate in problem resolution and escalation management when operational disruptions occur.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in transport operations, freight forwarding or logistics.
- Experience in carrier management, transport dispatching or subcontractor coordination.
- Good understanding of the European road transport market and operational processes.
- Experience negotiating rates and managing relationships with transport suppliers.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
- Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent English; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
- Proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
