YOUR ROLE
As part of the continued growth of Time Critical Services within CEVA Logistics, we are currently looking for a Transport Tracking Specialist - Night Shift (Time Critical Transport) to join our operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring ongoing transport operations across Europe, ensuring that customer requirements and service commitments are met. You will proactively manage exceptions, coordinate with customers and carriers, and take immediate action when operational disruptions occur.
Working schedule is from 22:00 – 06:00, Monday to Friday, with possibility to switch shifts also during the day.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Monitor ongoing transport operations to ensure customer requirements and service commitments are fulfilled.
- Track shipments throughout the transport cycle and ensure operations are carried out under optimal conditions.
- Maintain continuous communication with customers, carriers and operational stakeholders.
- Monitor the delivery and return of transport documentation and ensure operational records remain accurate.
- Identify potential delays, disruptions or service risks and initiate corrective actions.
- Resolve operational issues in a timely manner and escalate critical situations when required.
- Process customer and carrier complaints while maintaining accurate records.
- Inform management immediately about incidents, complaints or situations that could impact operational performance.
- Collect, verify and file transport documentation received from carriers and drivers.
- Contribute to maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction throughout the transport execution process.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and transport regulations..
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience in international transport operations, freight forwarding or logistics.
- Good understanding of transport operations and supply chain processes.
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good knowledge of transport regulations and European geography.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate operational issues.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers and carriers.
- Good level of self-reliance, accountability and decision-making.
- Good command of English.
- Knowledge of an additional European language such as German, French, Spanish, Italian or Polish would be considered an advantage.
