YOUR ROLE

Our team in Cork are currently looking for outgoing and ambitious candidates to fill the role of a Warehouse Operative

The successful candidates would be responsible for various tasks such as: goods receiving, put away, picking, packing, returns processing and stock counting amongst others.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Warehouse Team Leader you will ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. You will be responsible for:

• Unloading vehicles and ensuring goods tally with goods received notes
• Complete goods received paperwork, passing to Warehouse Clerk for entry into stock control systems
• Move goods to designated warehouse locations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
• Pick goods from the warehouse and marshal into the holding area
• Pack goods creating a shipping label
• Load packed goods onto courier vehicles
• Involvement in stock counting
• Ensuring and promoting 5s in designated areas

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will have previously worked in a warehousing, pick and pack environment and experience of using RDT’s and WMS systems. You will possess excellent communication skills, a team player who enjoys working in a fast pace and busy environment.  

It would be desirable, however not essential if you hold a Reach Truck or LLOP license.
