YOUR ROLE
Our operation in Daventry is recruiting 5 Warehouse Operatives working across both Inventory and Returns.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting customer contract delivery, and helping the team achieve operational targets.
Shifts will fall between 06:00 and 18:00 and the salary is £24,219 per annum.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Inventory Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock levels and locations using the warehouse management system.
- Carry out cycle counts, stock checks, audits and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support inventory counts alongside Operations and Client Services.
- Compare received items against orders and update system records accordingly.
- Compile stock reports and support continuous improvement of inventory processes.
- Ensure stock is stored correctly, health and safety standards are followed, and the area remains clean and organised.
Return Responsibilities:
- Process customers return accurately and in line with established procedures.
- Inspect, record, and update system information for returned items.
- Investigate discrepancies within returned stock and ensure prompt resolution.
- Support the development of efficient returns workflows and process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organised returns area and ensure 5S standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with carriers and external partners where required.
- Contribute to daily reporting and ensure returned stock is moved to correct system locations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a candidate with strong written and verbal English skills and proven experience in stock management within a logistics or warehouse environment.
MHE licenses are desirable, though not essential.
You should be confident working as part of a large team and comfortable meeting targets and deadlines. Due to the nature of the role, strong attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and high-quality standards are always maintained.
