Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE 

For our CEVA site in The Hague, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. In this role, you are responsible for managing a logistics process. 

Together with 2 Assistant Warehouse Supervisors, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 15–20 FTE and ensure that safety standards, quality, and productivity targets are met. In this role, you and your team continuously focus on optimizing work processes. You drive the highest standards in quality and productivity. 

In addition, you have a strong understanding of the processes under your responsibility (end-to-end) and are able to identify deviations. You initiate improvements and align these with the Operations Manager. The role involves working day, evening, and weekend shifts. 

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities include: 

• Planning, coordinating, and monitoring warehouse activities to ensure the highest possible level of service (meeting KPIs); 

• Identifying deviations in productivity and quality levels; 

• Continuously improving your team/department and participating in projects aimed at improving the organization and processes; 

• Maintaining close contact with Operational Support departments (strong communication skills required); 

• Working according to LEAN principles, including knowledge of 5S, and handling HR-related tasks (e.g., absenteeism, performance reviews, etc.); 

• Managing administrative tasks (reports, KPIs, skill matrix); 

• Reporting on the actual deployment of staff, equipment, and resources and advising the Contract Manager accordingly; 

• Monitoring KPIs.

• MBO+/HBO level (vocational/higher professional education level); 

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within logistics; 

• Knowledge of warehousing and automated information systems; 

• A proactive, independent mindset and a strong sense of responsibility for your site and team; 

• Flexibility in working with people from different nationalities; 

• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

• A gross monthly salary between €2.934 and €3.968 and 8% holiday allowance (salary depends on experience and educational background); 

• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
