Your Role

Join CEVA Freight LLC within our Transportation Operations department as a Logistics Operations Senior Specialist based at our Eagan facility located at 3169 Dodd Road, Eagan MSP. This key role within our Operations division will be instrumental in managing and optimising our logistics processes and supporting the efficient movement of goods across our network.

As a Senior Specialist, you will take ownership of complex logistics operations, delivering high-quality service by coordinating and improving procedures that impact transportation and freight activities. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 

• Lead and oversee daily logistics activities to ensure efficient and timely transport operations.
• Analyse and improve transportation workflows and processes, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancement.
• Coordinate closely with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and strong working relationships.
• Support the implementation of technology and tools that improve operational visibility and reporting accuracy.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and company standards in the handling and transportation of freight.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining logistics operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in logistics operations, preferably within freight or transportation industries.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools to support operational tasks and reporting.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, driving initiatives from concept through to completion.
