Pay Range: $124k -$135k

 

YOUR ROLE
Drive the operational, financial, and quality performance of the CEVA Network station(s) by providing strategic leadership, prioritization, and oversight of continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure the identification of systemic inefficiencies, empower teams to implement sustainable solutions, and remove barriers to operational excellence.

Lead the station’s Operational Excellence agenda by governing certification readiness, mentoring and developing Operations teams, and ensuring consistent adoption of Lean, Kaizen, PDCA, and standardized processes. Act as the primary liaison with country and regional BPE teams to align station‑level improvements with broader organizational strategy, ensuring long‑term capability building and a culture of continuous improvement.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Process Optimization Leadership: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by setting strategic direction for Lean initiatives across the station or region.
  • Prioritize improvement opportunities, allocate resources, and remove barriers to ensure successful execution of process optimization activities.
  • Root Cause Governance: Perform: Oversee and validate root cause analyses conducted by the team, ensuring rigor, cross functional involvement, and alignment with customer and operational expectations.
  • Approve and monitor corrective action plans, ensuring sustainable implementation and measurable impact.
  • Program & Project Oversight: Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and escalation support for continuous improvement projects from initiation through closure.
  • Ensure projects align with broader operational goals, budget constraints, and CEVA’s strategic roadmap.
  • Performance Management & KPI Ownership: Monitor: Define, refine, and govern the KPI framework used to measure operational excellence and improvement outcomes.
  • Review performance trends, challenge assumptions, and drive data based decision making across the station or region.
  • Standardization & Compliance Leadership: Ensure consistent adoption of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Lean standards across teams.
  • Audit compliance with local, regional, and global standards; intervene when gaps are identified and drive corrective actions.
  • Kaizen Program Governance: Oversee the Ground Kaizen Program at Region level, ensuring accurate reporting, timely submissions, and alignment with BPE expectations.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and achievements to country leadership and the BPE organization.
  • Training, Coaching & Culture Building: Develop Lean capability by coaching team members, facilitating advanced training, and modeling continuous improvement behaviors.
  • Foster a culture where problem solving, standard work, and waste elimination are embedded in daily operations.
  • Operational Excellence Leadership: Own the region’s roadmap for the Ground “Transport Classification Assessment” program, ensuring readiness, compliance, and continuous progression toward excellence.
  • Conduct internal assessments and guide teams through improvement actions required for certification or advancement.
  • Stakeholder & Cross Functional Alignment: Build strong partnerships with station leadership, country management, and cross functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities and resource needs
  • Influence stakeholders to support Lean initiatives and drive organizational buy in.
  • Support country/region initiatives: Act as the primary liaison between the station and Local/Regional BPE/IT teams for tool rollouts, process changes, and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure smooth adoption of regional programs and provide feedback to improve future deployments.
  • Leadership Responsibilities: Provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback to continuous improvement team members.
  • Ensure workload balance, professional development, and succession planning within the CI function.
  • Models and acts in accordance with CEVA guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education and Experience: Supply Chain, Lean, Engineering or Transportation training – be it specific theoretical and practical training or ‘on the job' training. Min. 6 years’ experience in a similar role i.e. Transport operations related activity or in Lean/continuous Improvements
  • Knowledge of Transport operations and Freight Management operations or Contract Logistics and warehousing operations
  • Knowledge and experience process engineering and management
  • Good analytics capabilities & problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of Lean and Continuous improvement methodologies (PDCA, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc)
  • Change management leadership skills
  • Planning, time management, collaboration, decision-making, organization, presentation, influencing skills.
