YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Storeperson (L4) to join our warehouse team at Derwent Park TAS.
Working Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 3.30 pm, you’ll support a range of warehousing, forklift and vehicle handling tasks to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality service for our customers. This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone confident working with equipment, systems and varied physical tasks in a fast-paced 3PL environment.
The role is offered under the CEVA Logistics & TWU National Enterprise Agreement with an hourly rate of $36.1732 (base rate + applicable allowances as per the EA).
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Pick and pack customer orders to required standards
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, with clamp experience desirable
- Use RF scanners for picking, putaway, replenishment and accuracy tasks
- Drive customer vehicles on and offsite, including to inspection depots (manual licence required)
- Create consignment notes and complete basic transport documentation
- Perform manual handling tasks, including occasional lifts up to 37.5kg
- Strap and wrap pallets using CEVA procedures, including auto-wrap equipment
- Support day-to-day warehouse activities across a multi-customer operation.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll have previous experience within a logistics environment, combined with strong safety awareness, reliability and a positive approach to teamwork.
- A valid LF forklift licence, with clamp attachment experience viewed favourably
- RF scanning proficiency and good understanding of inventory accuracy
- A valid manual driver licence and confidence driving customer vehicles
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions and customer requirements
- Good communication skills, attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Willingness to undertake varied warehouse duties and occasional lifts up to 37.5kg.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
