YOUR ROLE
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through daily inventory controls, Daily Cycle Counting (DCC), reconciliation, variance investigation, and compliance with inventory procedures. The role supports operational efficiency, audit readiness, and customer satisfaction by ensuring inventory integrity across all warehouse activities.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Perform and oversee Daily Cycle Counting (DCC) based on approved count plans and risk classification.
- Ensure accurate execution of cycle counts, second counts, and recounts in accordance with SOPs.
- Analyze cycle count results, investigate variances, and escalate significant discrepancies.
- Maintain overall inventory accuracy by reconciling physical stock against system records.
- Investigate inventory variances including shortages, overages, damages, and unaccounted returns.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Validate inbound, outbound, returns, put-away, picking, and replenishment transactions in the WMS.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of inventory adjustments with proper documentation and approval.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports including accuracy KPIs and variance analysis.
- Support stock takes, wall-to-wall counts, and special inventory counts as required.
- Ensure compliance with inventory SOPs, internal controls, and customer requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing inventory data, reports, and explanations.
- Coordinate closely with Warehouse Operations, and Management.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in any Business, Engineering, or Logistics & Transportation disciplines.
- Experience Minimum 2 years of professional experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy discipline.
