Senior individual contributor within the Inland Services Procurement function, providing transformation expertise to drive process optimization, tool implementation, and data-driven decision-making. Acts as a key collaborator to the Inland Procurement Manager, enabling strategic initiatives through operational and digital transformation.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Support the Inland Procurement Manager in designing and implementing the Target Operating Model (TOM) for Inland Services Procurement, providing transformation expertise and strategic recommendations to align with Group objectives.
- Implement transformation tools and processes according to the strategy defined by the Inland Procurement Manager, ensuring alignment with Group procurement standards and best practices.
- Monitor and follow up on KPI production by regional teams, ensuring accurate, timely, and actionable reporting on transformation progress, procurement performance, and cost optimization.
- Act as a project team member for Group-wide procurement tools development, contributing to requirements gathering, testing, and deployment for Inland Services.
- Drive change management activities to ensure adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working across regional Inland Services procurement teams, including training and communication.
- Provide data analytics and insights to support strategic decision-making, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, and transformation impact assessments.
- Interface between transformation teams, IT, Finance, and procurement stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve cross-functional issues, and ensure cohesive execution of transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to process optimization and standardization by identifying best practices, documenting procedures, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Degree in business, procurement, engineering, or related field. Proficient in English; French is a plus.
- Prior experience in procurement transformation, project management, or strategic sourcing. Strong track record in process improvement and tool implementation. Experience in international transport business
- Project management skills (planning, execution, monitoring). Data analytics (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) and KPI tracking. Understanding of procurement processes and transformation frameworks.
Desirable
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or transformation methodologies.
- Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SRM platforms, e-sourcing) and knowledge of Inland Services (Road, Rail, Barge) procurement.
- Familiarity with AI/analytics tools for procurement. Experience in change management and stakeholder alignment.
