YOUR ROLE
CEVA specialises in local and interstate motorcycle and car transport to any part of Australia, offered through our ‘Car Carrying’ service. Whether its car transport for an everyday family car, a prestige luxury vehicle, or a motorcycle, we have the experience and a modern specialised fleet of car transporters to take care of our customers’ needs.
As part of our dedicated, centralised team of Claims Specialists based at Truganina VIC, you’ll provide professional end-to-end transit damage claims support to customers of our car carrying business, with a focus on ensuring the prompt receipting, investigation and settlement of claims.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Efficiently coordinate the claims administration process from lodgement through to settlement
- Coordinate closely with CEVA’s team of vehicle operators and preferred repair network throughout the claims process
- Utilise desktop assessment tools to validate claims quotations
- Resolve disputes that may arise from rejected claims, damaged vehicles or other issues
- Utilise CEVA’s preferred repair network to reduce the costs related to damage claims
- Identify preventative strategies that will decrease the damage incident ratio
- Apply and enforce CEVA’s Vehicle Logistics Terms & Conditions with respect to extended warranties.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has claims handling experience in any discipline (motor, CTP, workers compensation, public liability, etc.) and a sound understanding of the claims handling process.
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, apply and explain policies, guidelines and procedures for a wide audience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to take and write clear and concise notes, reports and other documentation
- Sound dispute resolution, influencing and negotiating skills and the resilience to handle difficult conversations
- Above average skills in MS Office and capacity to learn and embrace new systems and technology.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
