YOUR ROLE

The Project Manager, in our Zero-Defect Start-Up team based at Truganina VIC, is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across CEVA’s Pacific operations. Projects may span one or multiple divisions, including Contract Logistics, Ground & Rail, and Finished Vehicle Logistics, and involve interdependent operational, systems, people, infrastructure and commercial workstreams.

Reporting to the General Manager – ZDS Implementation (Pacific), the role operates in a highly dynamic environment, managing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring delivery outcomes align with customer contracts, regulatory requirements and CEVA’s operational and governance standards.

The role exists to provide disciplined project leadership, coordination and governance across the organisation, enabling CEVA to implement new customers, deliver business change and execute transformation initiatives effectively.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary projects across CEVA’s Pacific business, managing up to four concurrent projects at any one time.
  • Apply CEVA’s project management methodology (ZDS / CPM) to establish effective governance, planning, reporting and control frameworks across the full project lifecycle.
  • Develop, maintain and actively manage project plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, resources, budgets and milestones, adjusting delivery plans as business requirements evolve.
  • Deliver new customer implementations across one or more CEVA divisions, including onboarding, process design, systems configuration, workforce readiness, equipment deployment and coordinated go-live activities.
  • Manage existing customer implementations and variations to business, including scope expansions, contract changes, network optimisation initiatives, volume growth and service model changes.
  • Lead IT and systems-driven projects, including WMS and transport system integrations, data interfaces, reporting solutions, technology upgrades and coordination with internal and external systems partners.
  • Deliver new site builds, site start-ups and site exits, including greenfield and brownfield developments, property fit-outs, automation readiness, operational transitions and controlled site migrations.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional internal stakeholders including Operations, IT, Finance, HR, QHSE, Procurement, Property, Legal and Commercial teams to ensure aligned and timely delivery across all workstreams.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Operations to define requirements and manage the sourcing, specification and deployment of MHE, racking, automation solutions and associated capital equipment, ensuring alignment to operational needs, safety standards, budgets and timelines.
  • Manage external stakeholders including customers, landlords or property developers, equipment suppliers, systems vendors and specialist service providers, maintaining effective communication, issue resolution and delivery oversight.
  • Maintain strong commercial and financial discipline, managing project budgets and approved CAPEX, ensuring alignment to customer contracts, pricing assumptions and CEVA commercial governance requirements.
  • Ensure formal project closure, operational handover and post-implementation reviews, capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Project Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience managing projects in logistics and supply chain, transport or operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects involving operational, systems, people and infrastructure change across one or more business units.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and suppliers across parallel workstreams.
  • Sound understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations, systems and process flows.
