YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Transport Operations Supervisor / Transport Manager (Ground & Rail), the Transport Coordinator will be CEVA’s onsite representative at a major automotive customer site in Mickleham, VIC.

You will be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient coordination of outbound transport activities, ensuring agreed service levels, packaging standards and transport requirements are consistently achieved.

Acting as the key link between the customer, the onsite warehouse operator, CEVA Transport Operations and Customer Care, you’ll provide real-time coordination, visibility and issue resolution in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This is a hands-on, highly visible role suited to someone who thrives onsite and enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Act as CEVA’s primary onsite transport coordination contact at the customer warehouse facility.
• Ensure all freight presented for transport is appropriately packaged, labelled and palletised in line with agreed standards.
• Coordinate daily collections with CEVA Transport Operations, communicating changes to volumes, priorities or service requirements.
• Monitor service performance and escalate transport deviations, damages or discrepancies in real time.
• Provide accurate shipment updates to Customer Care to support ETA management and SLA compliance.
• Participate in operational meetings, toolbox talks and performance reviews with site stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports and maintain accurate records, verifying consignment data against physical freight.
• Support safe and compliant transport activities in line with Chain of Responsibility obligations and CEVA SOPs.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is an experienced transport or logistics professional who is confident operating onsite within a customer-driven environment and managing real-time operational demands.

• Demonstrated experience in transport coordination, logistics operations or warehouse dispatch environments.
• Practical knowledge of transport processes, packaging standards and palletisation requirements.
• Working awareness of Chain of Responsibility obligations and safe loading practices.
• Experience using a Transport Management System (TMS).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, warehouse operators and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage service issues, escalations and competing priorities in a time-critical setting.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
