Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Supervisor for our location in Nieuwegein. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Warehouse Operators, coaching, and guiding them. Additionally, you will be able to maintain oversight and monitor your team, identifying areas for improvement. Together with the Warehouse Supervisor and 3 other Ass. Supervisors, you will ensure that employees enjoy their work and meet the agreed KPIs. You will also participate in projects aimed at improvements and present improvement proposals to your manager. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

• Determine daily capacity requirements;
• Guide and supervise your team in their daily tasks;
• Monitor and adjust the operational progress;
• Ensure compliance with regulations;
• Solve problems that employees are not allowed or able to solve;
• Manage the stock of consumables and packaging materials for your department;
• Take over the tasks of the Supervisor in their absence; and
• Participate in projects aimed at improving existing processes and making improvement proposals to your manager.

The operational working times are from 7am till midnight. Therefore, this position will be in shifts. Preferred shift will be 11am – 8pm.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 You are someone with:

• At least mbo (secondary vocational) working and thinking level;
• Several years of supervisory experience;
• Experience in a logistics role (a must);
• A flexible attitude to work various shifts;
• Good command of both Dutch and English.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.720,26 and € 3,521,43 and 8% vacation allowance (salary depends on experience and educational background);
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
