YOUR ROLE
Do you have a passion for LEAN and continuous improvement? Are you excited by the idea of advising on improvement initiatives? And do you thrive in a dynamic environment where no day is the same? If so, the role of LEAN Agent at CEVA Logistics in our Venray campus could be the perfect fit for you!
You will be part of the Operational Excellence team within the campus. Your base will be one of our Warehouses in Venray, but you will also work on Lean alignment projects that impact multiple sites and processes across our campus in Venray. You will report directly to the Operational Excellence Manager and collaborate with a team of 3 Lean Agents. Together, you will drive the continuous improvement and development of your site and our campus. The vibe is international and energetic, with lots of chances to have fun and connect with colleagues!
As LEAN Agent, you play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and Operational excellence across our Logistics operations. You support employees and Managers in meeting our LEAN objectives by implementing and further developing our CEVA Operational excellence program, standards and procedures. Thanks to your efforts, our processes become more effective, more efficient, and are aligned with our improvement culture.
You actively promote LEAN principles such as VSM, Kaizen and 5S, and you enjoy working with people and data. You collect key information and translate it into valuable management insights. This includes preparing reports, supporting SCA audits and controls, and identifying deviations that you escalate to Managers and Supervisors.
Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Inspire and engage colleagues in continuous improvement efforts (e.g., leading LEAN meetings, 5S program, belt trainings & workshops, conducting cycle-time measurements, and facilitating Kaizens);
- Collect data for monthly reports, create clear graphs and overviews, and share these with your stakeholders;
- Guide teams through Kaizen activities and manage the documentation of outcomes and results.
- Coordinate the Site Classification Assessments (SCA) and bring the site to the next level;
- Manage 5S audit process to ensure a safe, consistent and sustainable workplace organization;
- Support QESH in document management, ensuring work instructions and procedures are kept up-to-date and audited regularly;
- Participate in Value Stream Mapping and follow-up on Kaizens;
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities to strengthen LEAN practices within your area;
- Developing your own hard and soft skills.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Are you someone who always strives for improvement and has a passion for LEAN? Then this role is made for you! With your strong analytical mindset, you evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of our Warehouse processes. Your excellent social and communication skills allow you to motivate, convince, and advise colleagues at all levels. You enjoy delivering presentations and training sessions, and you bring a practical, hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset.
You bring the following knowledge and experience:
- Operates effectively at HBO/MBO level in both professional skills and analytical thinking;
- Preferably brings 3+ years of experience applying Lean thinking, tools, and methodologies;
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
- Excellent social and communication skills, effective across all organizational levels;
- Fluent in English, with Dutch considered a beneficial addition.

- A gross monthly salary between € 3.149 and € 4.312 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);

- Travel allowance from 10.0 km home-work distance;
