WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS PROJECT ENGINEER (B)?

Our warehouse campus in Venray continues to grow, and so does our Engineering team! That’s why we are looking for a new Project Engineer (B) who, with fresh ideas, will help our departments and operations work even more effectively and efficiently.

 

You will be part of the Operational Excellence team within the campus. Your base will be one of our 4 Warehouses in Venray, but you will also work on projects that impact multiple sites and processes across our campus. You will report directly to the Engineering Lead and collaborate with a team of 11 Engineers with various areas of expertise. Together, you will drive the Continuous Improvement and Development of our campus. The vibe is international and energetic, with lots of chances to have fun and connect with colleagues! Working hours run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

 

As a Project Engineer (B), you will contribute to the optimization and innovation of our Warehouse operations. You will work on diverse projects and will be involved in both planning and execution.

 

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading and supporting Improvement- and Customer implementation projects of varying complexity, based on Site annual roadmap and (Central) innovations;
  • Taking ownership of workstreams and providing updates on project execution and planning;
  • Proactively identifying improvements in operations and (innovative) warehousing solutions;
  • Gathering and data analyzing through reports, interviews, observations, and systems;
  • Handling financial elements such as budgets, cost calculations, and identifying savings opportunities;
  • Engaging directly with Customers and/or Stakeholders and provide them with the most effective solutions, decision making, project planning and meetings;
  • Developing your own hard and soft skills.

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities and skills?

  • At least 3 years of experience in Engineering is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics;
  • Demonstrable experience in Project execution and leading process improvements;
  • Knowledge gained in ERP, WMS systems, and MS Office;
  • Affinity with automation, process optimization and problem-solving methods;
  • Basic knowledge of Lean;
  • Excellent social and communication skills to different levels;
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch is preferred but not essential.

  • A gross monthly salary between € 3.494 and €4.801 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);

  • Travel allowance from 10.0 km home-work distance;
