Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE 

At our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Supervisor. In this versatile role, you will coordinate a team of Warehouse Operators and ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You will lead the team, monitor progress and productivity, and make sure processes are carried out according to plan. An important part of your role is applying LEAN philosophy, driving continuous improvement within the operation.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a team of around 8 to 15 employees on a daily basis. You act as a mentor and coach, fostering a positive working atmosphere where team spirit is key. Collaboration with colleagues is an important part of your role. You will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. The position is based on our campus in Roosendaal. And the working hours are daytime shifts between 06:00 AM and 7:00 PM. The exact working hours may vary from week to week.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor include:

• Coordinating, guiding, motivating and inspiring a team of Operators and Flex workers;
• Monitoring and adjusting operational progress and daily capacity requirements;
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures;
• Solving issues that employees are not allowed or able to resolve themselves;
• Managing the stock of consumables and packaging materials within your department.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Do you recognize yourself in the following characteristics and qualities? 

• Experience in logistics; experience in an e-commerce environment is a plus;
• You have experience working with LEAN principles especially with 5S;
• Good experience with Excel;
• You are available to work fulltime;
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written. Dutch is considered a plus.

• A competitive salary between €2,720,26 and €3,521.43, depending on your experience and educational background;
