YOUR ROLE
- Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm
- $33.6599 base hourly rate + 14.5% super
- Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National Enterprise Agreement.
As a Storeperson (L2) at Perth Airport WA, you will support day-to-day freight handling operations within a secure airport environment.
This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone comfortable performing manual handling and general warehouse or freight tasks in a regulated setting.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Receive, check and sort inbound freight in line with operational requirements.
- Unload and move goods safely within the facility.
- Store and stage goods accurately within the warehouse or airport environment.
- Complete scanning and system transactions accurately.
- Support merchandising activities within the customer’s duty free store.
- Assist with general warehouse and freight handling tasks.
- Ensure compliance with CEVA policies and procedures, particularly safety and aviation security.
- Support service and operational performance targets.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has experience in warehouse, freight handling or frontline customer service operations, as well as:
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
- Good attention to detail and reliability.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work within a secure, compliance-driven environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC Red Card as a condition of employment.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
