YOUR ROLE

 

  • Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm
  • $37.4393 base hourly rate + 14.5% super
  • Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National Enterprise Agreement.

 

As a Storeperson (L4 – Team Leader) at Perth Airport WA, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of a team of Storepersons supporting a secure, high-compliance airport operation.

 

This is a hands-on operational role suited to someone confident working across freight handling and retail support activities within a fast-paced, regulated airport environment.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of your team across airport operations.
  • Coach, support and develop team members.
  • Receive, check and sort inbound freight in line with operational requirements.
  • Move and stage goods safely within the secure airport environment.
  • Support merchandising and replenishment activities within the customer’s duty free retail environment.
  • Ensure compliance with CEVA policies and procedures, particularly safety and aviation security.
  • Support inventory control activities including stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Maintain service, productivity and quality standards.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate has experience in operational environments, including coordination of day-to-day team activities, as well as:

 

  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Experience working within a regulated or secure environment is desirable.
  • Ability to work across freight handling and retail support activities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC Red Card as a condition of employment.

 

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
