Location: El Marques-Queretaro, Mexico

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at CEVA FM Mexico. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the day-to-day operations within our warehouse facilities. This position reports directly to senior management within the Logistics Operations division and is based in El Marques-Queretaro.

As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. You will manage teams, implement best practices, and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse operations teams to achieve performance targets and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily logistics activities including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse operational data, and prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and transportation teams to streamline processes and support business goals.
• Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and workforce planning to meet fluctuating operational demands.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and deploying innovative solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics management, ideally within warehouse or distribution centre operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control methodologies.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to various audiences.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
• Proficiency in analysing operational data and utilisation of metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements and work schedules as needed.
