YOUR ROLE

 

The Business Process Excellence Expert drives and supports Operational Excellence across APAC Contract Logistics through execution of LEAN/DMAIC initiatives, deployment of Global Standards, and delivery of measurable cost, productivity, and service improvements. Provides hands-on support to close operational gaps identified via SCA, Kaizen, and Contract Reviews while contributing to capability building across different sites in the Region.

 

The position also requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Solution Design, Innovation & Transformation, and Global stakeholders, to develop and implement best practices, ensuring smooth execution of new implementations and transformation projects.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Deliver Value: Partner with senior leader, BPE Team and site teams to deliver operational solutions and improvements that generate measurable business value. Improvements are typically reflected in enhanced productivity, service quality, safety, revenue increase and improved Gross Margin.       
  • Develop Relationships & Influence: Build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Influence decision-making, lead and implement process improvements through collaboration, even without direct reporting lines. Success is achieved through a consultative and inclusive approach to problem identification, solution development and implementation.     
  • Develop People & Transfer Knowledge: Lead the implementation of improvements across all organisational levels, from shop floor to management. Ensure effective knowledge transfer of process improvement methodologies and evaluate their impact on operational performance.     
  • Drive Culture Change: Promote a culture of data-driven, fact-based decision-making. Implement relevant analytics and performance metrics to support and sustain continuous improvement across the business.
  • Lead, implement and support High-Impact Projects: Provide thought leadership and expert support for strategic projects, including LEAN Waves, Kaizen events, Contract Review Assessments, Deep Dive Processes review and Site Classification Assessments. Facilitate training, scheduling, and execution to ensure successful outcomes. 
  • Deploy Best Practices: Implement CEVA’s global standards and best practices across operational and business processes. Focus on service excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability across sites and functions.     
  • Enable New Business & Transformation: Collaborate with Solution Design, Business Development, Transformation and Innovation teams to support new business implementations and transformations. Support operational readiness using CEVA’s ZDS methodology.    
  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Contribute to the development of the annual BPE business plan, ensuring alignment with CEVA’s Contract Logistics strategy and operational priorities.    
  • Flexibility & Ad Hoc Support: Lead or support additional projects and assignments as required, demonstrating agility and responsiveness to evolving business needs of CEVA’s Contract Logistics strategy and operational priorities.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management).

 

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing complete work streams, including exposure to P&L responsibilities and cross-functional operations.
  • Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong diagnostic skills in identifying, analysing, and documenting organisational challenges and root causes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in organisational change consulting and the implementation of customised improvement tools and monitoring systems.
