YOUR ROLE

We’re seeking a Compound Coordinator for our Minto compound to oversee and support daily operational and administrative functions within the branch to ensure full compliance with CEVA’s contractual commitments and service standards.

This position ensures that the trucking fleet operates at maximum productivity to achieve established profit & loss and service KPI objectives.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Lead daily compound operations to ensure seamless daily operational flow, adherence to standard operating procedures, and optimal resource utilisation
• Mentor, coach, and support the development of team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards (OHS & E compliance), accuracy, productivity, and performance expectations
• Drive performance improvement by implementing targeted actions to enhance cost per vehicle, fleet utilisation, and labour usage
• Lead toolbox talks and team meetings, proactively addressing operational challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
• Ensure real-time and accurate use of operational systems to track vehicle movements, providing transparency and timely updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance and control
• Manage transit damage claims and non-conformance reporting
• Engage with internal and external customers, ensuring service excellence through structured communication, feedback mechanisms, and resolution of service issues.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has experience in supervising / managing operations in any industry OR is ready to step-up to this level.?

• Experience and/or capability to coach, develop and engage an operational team
• Proven experience in administration and stock control, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sound troubleshooting / problem solving capability, commercial acumen and numeracy skills
• Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems, software and technologies
• Bonus: knowledge and/or applied understanding of enterprise agreements.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
