YOUR ROLE

Exciting times are ahead as we’ve invested in brand-new European trucks and trailers as part of our national fleet.

We're seeking expressions of interest from experienced drivers to join our NSW Casual Linehaul Drivers, based out of Orchard Hills.

The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy the flexibility of working hours while maintaining a passion for driving.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runs
• Perform bulk pickup, drop-off and unload
• Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policies
• Ensure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations in conjunction with depot-based teams
• Complete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has experience in linehaul driving and a current MC driver licence together with:

• Good understanding of CoR, including basic fatigue management, mass / dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading procedures
• Good reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail.

• linehaul rate of $0.6346 / km (Grade 8) per the Road Transport (Long Distance Operations) Award
