YOUR ROLE
The position is part of an operational department and focuses on the administrative handling of forwarding and/or logistics activities. You will support daily operational processes by carrying out various administrative tasks.
In this role, you support the Operations Support department and are responsible for order-related administration for the Warehouse team, preparing schedules and documents, and maintaining contact with internal departments, customers, and transport partners. You will work closely with colleagues in the warehouse on a daily basis.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will be part of the Operations Support team at our new location in Tilburg. In this role, you will work together with internal departments, customers and transport partners. As the department and organization continue to develop, this role offers ample opportunities for learning and professional growth.
- Ensure accurate administrative processing of orders and the preparation and verification of (forwarding) documents;
- Collect and manage all shipment-related documentation;
- Support the Customer Operations team in daily activities;
- Review, code, and process incoming invoices; liaise with transport partners where needed;
- Handle internal and external customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner;
- Making improvement proposals to the manager.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
With your hands-on mentality and communication skills, you ensure that the operation runs smoothly! You can identify bottlenecks, empathize with the customer and understand the logistics process.
In addition, you bring the following knowledge and competencies:
- MBO+ level of working and thinking;
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a logistics environment;
- Good command of the English language, as systems and communication with colleagues and customers are primarily in English;
- Strong digital skills and experience with automated systems such as MS Office, Access, and Excel;
- Flexible with working hours between 07:30 and 18:00.
