YOUR ROLE

Managing the development of large and complex implementation projects  from a functional or technical perspective,  such as the implementation of new customers, relocations of operations, facility construction, optimization of existing operations or strategic internal projects, according to the CEVA’s ZDS (Zero Defect Start-up) Project Management Methodology.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Formal leadership duties that include multiple teams and groups.  More senior leaders may serve as a lead to peers or other roles on a formal or informal basis.   

  •  Managing or overseeing the development and alignment of Global/ Regional/ Country complex business implementation projects including project communications, reporting and agenda of working group to steering group level and coordination of customer meetings for reporting of project progress.
  •  Establishing and ensuring communication with the customer to agree and document the project scope, changes to scope and appraise and resolve any timeline, resource, operational or project budget implications.
  •  Manage the project in accordance with agreed budgets, covering implementation, capital investments and operational running. Define, report and resolve all budgetary issues to resolution.
  •  Support BD with following up on opportunities and act in accordance with company guidelines to enhance and protect the image of the company and its officers. Manage effective business selling through detailed and accurate project forecasting, planning and delivery through written documents and customer/internal presentations.
  •  Managing expectations for customers, facilitating communication and ensuring customer requirements are met while respecting financial aspects, and establish critical performance metrics; communicate project progress, issues, escalations and facilitate resolutions where required. 
  •  Examining and implementing best practices to improve the application of project deliverables and solutions, such as milestones, approaches, delivery, feedback and measurement.   Collate, document and control the risks and issues associated with a project and deliver effective mitigations and actions to minimise the potential impact of these risks.
  •  Ensuring staff and resources are efficient and effective to achieve commitments to the customer and highest quality levels; interacts and assists on escalated needs or concerns.
  •  Collaborate with involved workstreams (Procurement, Finance, IT, SD) and ensure effective communication. Align with SD in regards to the final solution.
     Implement corporate tools and systems, ensure compliance with CEVA policies in regards to Corporate Systems and Applications Usage and ensure staff is trained and committed on its utilization.
  •  Managing the implementation and interpretation of policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; receives legal guidance and interpretation when required.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

•    College, professional or university degree in engineering or related functional area or equivalent education and experience is often accepted.     •    Post Graduate Education is preferred.
•    Typically at least five years of managerial experience, intermediate roles may require five to ten years of management experience, and senior roles often require more than ten years of managerial experience.
•    Experienced in financial and resources management (P & L, balance sheet, forecasting, budgets, allocations).
•    Leading formal and informal teams and staff.     
•    Understanding and success in the development and implementation of engineering programs and strategies in a similar global environment
•    Thorough understanding of logistics/supply chain operations and related operational and business requirements and best practices. 
•    Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation, influencing and negotiating skills.
•    Developing, implementing and interpreting policies and procedures as well as applicable laws, rules and regulations
•    PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).    
•    Operating in a both a team and individual contributor environment.
•    Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
