WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Act as first point of contact for allocated customers/ manages ad hoc & on demand engagement
  • Proactively inform customer on shipment status and exceptions
  • Handle customer requests regards to various topics (engages with additional stakeholders where required)
  • Implement new customers, products, lines, services based on Ocean Product
  • Together with Business Development, co-create and update SOP documentation required to secure effective OOC and GBS service
  • Accept and process customer orders in CEVA systems
  • Pass on leads to Business Development (new lanes/ business opportunities/ increase share of wallet)
  • Handle customer inquiries, quotations in cooperation with Pricing and Business Development team, local RFQ - Farming
  • Contact with other stations and forwarding required instruction (e.g. SOP, booking orders)
  • Take and handle any customer complaints; solve customer complaints or assign tasks to other functions (service recovery)
  • Report to customers according their requirements
  • Act as first contact point for customer claims for notification and reception of claims and respective document collection

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • University degree (Bachelor, Master) in transportation or logistics
  • Advanced English
  • Min 2 years of experience in ocean transportation (preferably in ocean customer service department)
  • Ability to coordinate, plan and monitor at national level Ocean projects
  • Ability to build long term relations with customers
  • Strong background in process design and execution
  • Going the extra mile to understand and meet customer expectations
  • Strong service mentality
  • Taking initiative to propose innovations and improvements
