YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Engineer Reverse Logistics, you will be challenged to design, analyze, and implement logistics processes. You work closely with the operations team to realize your projects and act as the link between customer requirements, processes, and operations. You are responsible for your projects from start to finish. Your projects are highly diverse and require continuous alignment with your counterpart at bol. Examples include translating logistics insights into process design principles, developing blueprints for (among others, mechanized) warehouse processes, implementing operational processes, and improving physical workstations.

You work closely with colleagues from other departments and represent CEVA Logistics during working sessions at bol. There is a healthy ambition focused on results, personal development, and growth. In this role, you report to the Lead Logistics Engineering and are based at the bol Returns Center in Waalwijk. In addition, you are also responsible for the two bol. XL (Nieuwegein and Nijmegen) sites, where you will be present once every two weeks. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO? 
In this role, you are responsible for:

• Designing, initiating, and implementing warehouse processes;
• Proactively proposing solutions in the areas of mechanization, automation, and the warehouse management system (WMS);
• Creatively designing and updating the warehouse layout and physical workstations;
• Participating in a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating with both CEVA Logistics and bol. colleagues;
• Preparing process descriptions and functional specifications;
• Developing business cases to justify projects.

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualifications and characteristics?

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration;
• At least 1 to 3 years of experience as a Logistics Engineer (or in a similar role);
• Preferably experience with complex (logistics) operational processes;
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, methodical way of working;
• Well-developed social and communication skills;
• Stress resilience and strong diplomatic awareness;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.

• A gross monthly salary between €2.946,- and €4.187,- plus 8% holiday allowance (salary level depending on your experience and education);
