YOUR ROLE

CEVA Logistics are seeking a Warehouse Operative to  play a vital role within our Hams Hall operation, supporting the efficient movement, storage and dispatch of goods across a busy shared-user warehouse environment. Working as part of the operational team, you will ensure products are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time, helping to deliver a world-class service to customers across automotive and industrial sectors.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support a wide range of warehouse activities, including unloading vehicles, putting stock away, picking and assembling customer orders, checking products, marshalling loads and loading vehicles for dispatch. You will work across multiple operational areas and undertake training to become multi-skilled, providing flexibility and resilience across the operation. This will include supporting automotive sequencing activities, industrial product handling, stock checks and other warehouse processes as required.

Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with site Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work, maintaining a strong focus on health and safety while reporting any hazards or unsafe practices. You will work to established productivity and accuracy targets, helping to maintain high service levels for all customers while contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse. Maintaining housekeeping standards will be a key part of the role, ensuring warehouse and yard areas remain clean, organised and compliant with operational standards.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment and be comfortable working within a fast-paced operational setting. You will be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling activities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills across different operational areas. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential, along with the ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently. A forklift truck (FLT) licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as training and development opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance. There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment so if you’d like to work for one of the top Logistics providers in the world then please do get in touch to find your next role.
