YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a technically minded and commercially astute Pricing & Solution Design Specialist to join our Project Logistics team in Hazelmere WA. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for designing, pricing and delivering innovative logistics solutions for complex, industrial-scale and out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo across sectors such as mining, energy and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with business development, operations, and engineering to turn customer requirements into executable solutions that deliver both value and confidence.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Design logistics solutions for OOG, heavy-lift and multi-modal cargo including route, feasibility and technical plans
- Build accurate pricing models using benchmark data, market intelligence and margin targets
- Act as the pricing and technical lead on RFQs and tenders, including client presentations and solution justifications
- Conduct post-quote analysis to assess win/loss outcomes, cost accuracy and margin variance
- Collaborate with commercial, operational, engineering, sourcing and legal teams to align solution and delivery capability
- Monitor customer expectations, market developments and compliance requirements within the project logistics sector
- Maintain pricing templates, quoting tools and reference materials to ensure speed and consistency in response.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has a blend of technical planning expertise, commercial modelling skills and freight forwarding experience. You will also bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics & Supply Chain, Engineering or Business
- Solid experience in logistics solution design and pricing, ideally for project-based or industrial cargo
- Deep understanding of OOG, heavy-lift and multi-modal logistics, including WA permitting
- Proficiency in Excel, pricing tools, and interpreting technical drawings or method statements
- Familiarity with project logistics sectors such as mining, energy or infrastructure
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and proposal writing skills
- A willingness to work flexibly, including outside of standard business hours, to meet business or customer requirements.
