YOUR ROLE

The incumbent will be part of Project Logistics department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

• Review, Analyse and Interpret Tender documents (RFPs ,RFQs ,RFIs) to identify requirements, risks and deliverables
• Coordinate Tender / RFQ timelines and ensure on-Time submission for all tender/ RFQ deliverables
• Maintain a database of tender/ RFQ submissions with outcomes and Feedback from customers (internal/External).
• Proactively follow up RFQs/ Tenders outcome and communicate with customers (Internal/ customers) to Analyze and improve the success ratio
• Prepare competitive pricing proposals aligned with company strategy and margin targets
• Ensure all Tenders / RFQs comply with customer requirements and company policies
• Coordinate rate sourcing with procurement for IG, Chartering desk or source out some direct rates with approved vendors for Out of Gauge cargo according to the procedures in place
• Ensure Pricing accuracy and Adherence to Internal approval workflows
• Support contract negotiations and commercial clarifications where required
• Identify opportunities to improve tender and RFQ processes, templates and tools
• Collaborate closely with sales, Procurement, Operation, finance and legal teams
  
  

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Essential

• Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Must be able to work independently and as well as a team player.
• Minimum 3 years’ Experience in Freight Forwarding (Seafreight and Airfreight)
• Strong Analytical and Numerical Skills
• High Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written communication and document preparation abilities
• Collaborative teamwork and stakeholder management.

Desirable

• Projects Experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with pricing tools is an advantage.
• Industry Expertise (projects and / or Energy)
• DG Certification (IATA/IMDG), DG Knowledge
